Course Description

This is a self-paced non-credit online course in the Church Administration Course Series offered by the Duke Divinity School. This course provides an overview of church financial administration and management for professional ministry staff, rather than teaching the “nuts and bolts” of accounting, financial reporting, or financial management. It is designed to provide pastors with enough knowledge to ask the right questions of their staff and advisory committees, and an intuition of common pitfalls of church financial management, to help guard against imprudent financial practices.

This course should take you approximately 5-7 hours to complete; you will have 6 months to complete the course from the course access date. Upon successful completion of the course you will earn a digital badge.

By clicking “Add to Cart” on the right, you are registering  for an individual course in the series. If you intend to complete the entire Course Series (all 4 courses) within 6 months, we recommend you register for the discounted bundle pricingwhich is only available when registering for all courses as a bundle.

NOTE: If you register and pay for one or more individual courses and then decide you would prefer to register for the bundle (full course series), you will need to cancel the course(s) for which you registered, and will incur a cancellation fee for the course(s) as described in the refund policy.
