ONLINE: Yoga nidra is a systematic approach to relaxation. Research has shown that yoga nidra can get people into the same brain wave pattern as when they are in a deep sleep while they remain aware. Students in the instructor's classes often remark on how relaxed and refreshed they feel after a 30-minute practice. Using lecture, gentle movement, guided breathing and yoga nidra, students will learn about and experience specific techniques and practices. Each class will have a different focus. The practice will always include deep relaxation but may focus on, for example, healing, improving cognition or connecting to the heart.
