IN PERSON: Viruses and bacteria and fungi, oh my! This course will teach students about the trillions of microbes sharing our bodies and how they make us who we are. Students will learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy microbiomes and how we can keep them healthy. We will learn how our knowledge of the microbiome is revolutionizing health care and could someday be the secret to the fountain of youth.
