Establishing a strong nonprofit requires a strong board of directors to meet and fulfill today's increased requirements for accountability and funding. This class will discuss a four step process to develop and maintain a strong board of directors. Class is also certified for CAE course credit. Marty Martin, JD, MPA, of the Martin Law Firm, Raleigh, provides a range of legal, training, and consulting services for nonprofit organizations. He is a graduate of the Kennedy School of Government and has completed the Duke Certificate in Nonprofit Management.
