ONLINE: Do you want to learn how to meditate or deepen your current meditation practice? If so, this course is for you. Over six sessions, you will learn the foundations of mindfulness meditation and receive guidance in developing a regular practice. Each week, you will be introduced to different meditation techniques and have opportunities to practice both in class and at home, helping you discover what best fits your needs and schedule. The skills you develop can help improve focus and attention, manage stress and anxiety, and support greater presence in daily life. Research suggests that a consistent meditation practice may also improve sleep, increase self-compassion, and cultivate gratitude. In this small-group setting, you'll have opportunities to ask questions, share insights, and reflect on your experiences. I will also occasionally reference excerpts from the recommended book that complement each week's topic. | Lecture + Q&A, Active Skill Learning.
