The first hour explores a different watercolor technique for creating dynamic backgrounds; the second hour is devoted to illustrating a natural subject of your choice using colored pencil. Subjects may include plants, animals, birds or insects. Reference materials will be provided if you don’t have one in mind. This course is intended for students with prior experience in both watercolor and colored pencil who can bring their own materials.
