Hands-On Woodworking with Bull City Woodshop
Join fellow makers for a small-group, beginner-friendly woodworking workshop at Bull City Woodshop in Durham. Each session focuses on a single project that you’ll complete and take home the same day. Instructors provide step-by-step guidance on tool use, safety, and finishing techniques.

No experience is needed, and all tools and materials are provided. Class size is limited to ensure plenty of individual attention — just wear closed-toe shoes and get ready to create.

Spend a morning in the woodshop learning the fundamentals of woodworking as you craft a beautiful keepsake box — perfect for storing treasures or giving as a handmade gift. Guided by experienced instructors from Bull City Woodshop, you’ll learn how to measure, cut, assemble, and finish your project using basic tools and techniques.

This hands-on workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate learners and limited to a small group to ensure plenty of individual attention. All tools and materials are provided — just wear closed-toe shoes and be ready to roll up your sleeves. You’ll leave with a finished keepsake box and new skills to build on.

Workshops are held at Bull City Woodshop, 1912 E Pettigrew St. Durham, NC 27703. They are between Bacon St and Driver St on E Pettigrew, just east of the Green Flea Market. Parking is available onsite.
