The Intergenerational Connections SIG fosters a welcoming, mutually supportive community between traditional-age Duke students and OLLI members. Our premise is simple: bringing different generations together to talk openly and supportively about matters of interest and concern at different phases of their lives contributes to the growth and well-being of all involved. We host dinners that pair equal numbers of undergraduates and OLLI members for open conversations. Generally we hold two of these dinners each semester in private facilities at nearby restaurants or at Duke.
