Expand your mind and your social circle with our SIG! Open to all OLLI members regardless of background, this friendly group meets monthly on Zoom to discuss books and topics suggested by members on topics such as biology, evolution, the physical sciences, medicine, the environment, economics, and scientific biographies. About twice a year, our members collectively vote to set our reading lineup for the upcoming months.
Our structured yet relaxed discussions allow everyone a chance to participate. We even send out a handy recap after each meeting, including a list of extra resources and books mentioned. Occasionally, we meet for social gatherings. It’s a wonderful, low-pressure way to meet new people and stay intellectually engaged.
