The OLLI Singles SIG represents an opportunity to build connections, community and new friendships for single members of OLLI at Duke. New or old to OLLI, new or old to the area, make new connections while participating in events and activities that are of interest to our members. Members are encouraged to share their passions with the rest of the group and are expected to organize, suggest or coordinate one or more events each year.
Our Steering Committee provides support for communication of details on behalf of event organizers. The Committee also maintains an event calendar. We enjoy museum tours, potluck dinners, plays, gardening, concerts, board games, dancing, lectures and various activities with an emphasis on socializing.
