ONLINE: This online art class offers a unique twist on the popular urban sketching style by focusing on creating artworks from photographs rather than sketching outdoors. In this 10-week course, with each class lasting two hours, students will learn to capture the charm of unusual and distinctive doors, windows, and shop fronts using pen and waterproof ink paired with watercolors. This course requires no prior experience, making it accessible to a wide range of students. Participants will develop skills in working with waterproof ink to depict architectural elements and learn how to add color using watercolors. The primary focus is on becoming comfortable with a very loose, expressive pen and ink style. Throughout the course, students will practice portraying images based on photographs, allowing them to work at their own pace in a fun and relaxed environment. Materials needed include waterproof ink and pen, along with watercolors. | Active Skill Learning.
