Join fellow OLLI at Duke members for a guided hike through Duke Forest, the university’s 7,000-acre teaching and research forest. Led by Duke Forest staff, this two-hour excursion will explore the Forest’s history and ecology, its role in scientific discovery, and the thoughtful stewardship of this remarkable Duke resource.
The hike will cover approximately two miles of hilly forest roads and foot trails, offering plenty of opportunities to learn, ask questions, and enjoy a fall afternoon in the Forest.
