Course Description

IN PERSON: Join us on a journey through the vineyards of France. We will explore some of the most famous wine regions of Burgundy, Bordeaux, and the Rhone and Loire valleys. We will taste four to five wines from the areas and discuss foods that pair well with each. We will get to know each region through an examination of the historical events that have impacted its wine production, how its climate affects the grapes, the styles of wine most common to the region and the varieties that are most frequently produced there. If you love French wine and want to deepen your knowledge, this is a great way to do it. Please join us. | Lecture + Q&A.
