ONLINE: This course introduces the joy of improvisation through fun, interactive drama exercises that enhance intuition, spontaneity, listening skills, and collaboration skills. Participants will learn to create scenes in the moment using acting and storytelling techniques. Students will also explore Playback Theater, a unique form of improv in which participants share brief moments from their own lives and fellow actors spontaneously transform those stories into short scenes, without scripts or planning. Each session incorporates elements of acting, storytelling, movement, music, and creative expression while encouraging imagination and humor. Over 10 sessions, participants will build their confidence, creativity, and openness to the unexpected while connecting with others through shared stories. No acting experience required, only a willingness to participate and bring your life experience to the process. | Active Skill Learning.
