ONLINE: The world has some remarkable places where the geology of particular caves, stones, or rocks has created interesting, unusual, or famous sites with significant natural or human-enhanced features. Whether it is a place of drama, history, curiosity, vistas, or just pure enjoyment of nature's wonders, each of these sites educates, challenges, tantalizes, and fascinates us. The three classes in this online lecture series will be supported with PowerPoint slides to guide our "tours" among such sites as the Great Pyramid, Stonehenge, the Rosetta stone, Pulpit Rock, the Árbol de Piedra, Antelope Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, the Blarney Stone, the Grand Canyon, and Mammoth Cave. | Lecture + Q&A.
Max enrollment: 200.
Class sessions are recorded.
