ONLINE: In this course, participants will learn about the instructor’s explorations, “boots in the mud and fins in the water,” studying climate change and developing solutions. We will follow in his footsteps (and wake) in Iceland, the Coral Triangle, and North Carolina. Students will examine coral bleaching, sea level rise, geothermal energy, receding glaciers, and ecosystem preservation and restoration. We will discuss the significant ways each of us can promote climate change solutions. This learning experience is based upon science, but you don’t need to be a scientist to fully participate. | Lecture + Q&A.
Max enrollment: 200.
