Course Description

IN PERSON: This course explores the communication styles, values, and shared experiences that shape today’s generational landscape. Participants will learn foundational generational archetypes and examine how they influence individuals' preferences for communication, including the use of tools such as texting and social media. Through discussion and practical skill‑building activities, learners will gain flexibility and confidence in their ability to connect more effectively across generations. By the end of the course, participants will be able to: identify key traits of major generational cohorts; explain how generational patterns affect communication behaviors; recognize common gaps and tensions in multigenerational settings; apply practical strategies to improve their clarity and their rapport-building and collaboration skills; and adapt their own communication style to engage more effectively with people of different ages in everyday interactions. | Lecture + Q&A, Facilitated discussion.
