Join Duke artist and educator Bill Fick for a hands-on morning of screenprinting in the studio. Bill serves as Visual and Studio Art Manager and Lecturing Fellow in the Department of Art, Art History and Visual Studies, where he has taught for 18 years. A Duke graduate and practicing artist for more than three decades, he is widely known for bold prints and graphic imagery that explore the anxieties and contradictions of contemporary life.
In this three-hour workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of screenprinting and create an original print to take home. Bill will demonstrate techniques, guide the process step by step, and share insights from his professional practice in printmaking, painting, posters, and design.
No prior experience is required. Whether returning to the studio or trying printmaking for the first time, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, experiment, and make something memorable.
Space is limited to ensure individual attention. Register early to reserve a spot.
This workshop is non-refundable.
