ONLINE: This lecture-based course explores the three major Western religions—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—all of which trace their origins to a common figure, Abraham, and emerged from similar desert environments. We will examine their historical development, the influence of geography, and the ways each tradition has evolved over time, highlighting both their shared foundations and key differences in their beliefs and practices. Classes will be presented through structured lectures supported by PowerPoint slides, visual timelines, and short video clips that bring historical context and religious practices to life. Questions are welcome any time during the presentations.
