IN PERSON: Embark on a fascinating journey through Germany’s renowned Rhine Valley wine region. Together we will explore the distinctive terroirs of Rheingau, Rheinhessen, Nahe, and the Mittelrhein, discovering what makes each area unique. During the course, you will taste four to five wines representative of these regions and learn about food pairings that enhance their character. You'll hear about the history, climate, and geography that have shaped winemaking along the Rhine, examining how these influences affect grape growing and wine styles today. You'll also gain insight into the grape varieties that thrive in each region and the wines for which they are best known. Whether you are already a fan of German wines or are looking to expand your knowledge, this tasting course offers an engaging and enjoyable opportunity to deepen your understanding of one of the world’s most celebrated wine-producing areas.
