Students learn vocabulary, the basics to get started including making pulp and working with the mould and deckle, deckle box and non traditional methods and tools for embellishing and inclusions. This botanical agrarian experience will have you enjoying the beautiful Duke Forest property and learning about Heritage Crops, the farm and exploring open ended hands on fun with pulps and raw materials that reflect the seasonal harvest. Expect to take home paper that can be written and painted on as well as used for paper arts projects, book arts and framed mementos.
