Spend an evening under the stars with Duke Professor Ronen Plesser, the driving force behind the Duke Teaching Observatory in Duke Forest. In this small-group outdoor experience, participants will explore the night sky, observe stars and planets, and learn more about what they’re seeing from an energetic, award-winning teacher who brings astronomy to life. There will be plenty of opportunity to look, learn, ask questions, and enjoy the wonders of the night sky. No astronomy experience required, just bring your curiosity and a sense of wonder!
