Course Description
Social enterprise and entrepreneurship, nonprofits and unrelated business income, and hybrid organizations like the benefit corporation, L3C, and B Lab certification represent emerging organizational forms to meet social and financial needs. Collective impact, impact investing, and network leadership seeks to work outside the boundaries of organizations. Participants will learn about the theory, legal requirements, and practice related to these new entities for meeting social and community needs. There will be required pre-reading materials which will be emailed to the registrant’s email address the week before the class
